Teaching

• It is expected that all students will participate in teaching sections or laboratory for two terms. Most students teach in the spring term of their first year and the fall term of their second year.
• Teaching fellow assignments are handled by Joe Lavin, Student & Academic Financial Administrator in the Director's Office (lavin at chemistry dot harvard dot edu, 617-496-3209) and Gregg Tucci, Senior Lecturer. Requests for specific course assignments may be made to either, but you must confirm your final assignment with Joe.
• Students may teach courses in other departments, but must confirm their teaching status with Joe Lavin.
