Center for Crystallographic Studies
Harvard Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology
Manager and Lecturer: Dr. Douglas M. Ho
The laboratory was formed to support and operate the two CCD difraction Systems for Single Crystal Diffraction" delivered from Bruker-AXS. The instruments are equipped with a low temperature device. The laboratory is operated and maintained by a full time crystallographer. The Laboratory is housed in Bauer B06.
The laboratory is a full service facility, able to determine the three dimensional structure of molecules and solids from single crystal samples. The laboratory is equiped with Two PC's, and a microscope which is used for routine mounting (see Laboratory Instrumentation).
